Mr. Ehab Anis Abdulla Hassan joined National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) as Group Chief Human Resources Officer in November 2007.

Mr. Hassan, one of UAE leading young talents in the banking sector, graduated from Pacific University, USA, with a degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Hull University, UK. He has a wealth of experience gained from high level positions held during 20 years in banking and oil and gas sectors.

Apart from the general HR experience, he also has experience in corporate banking, business planning and organisational development.

As Chief Human Resources Officer of NBAD, Mr. Hassan is responsible for meeting the Bank’s ever expanding need to attract, develop and retain specialised talents. Mr. Hassan is committed to increase Emiratisation at NBAD by selecting the best UAE Nationals and assure development of their leadership capacity, enhanced work performance, and appropriate promotion. The Bank has formulated an excellent Emiratisation Strategy to achieve this goal.

Under his leadership, NBAD has won many prestigious HR awards such as Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council for successful Emiratization in 2009 and Human Resources Development Award in Banking Sector in 2009 and 2008.
