The SMS alert is useful service for the customer. It allows him/her to monitor all the transactions in his/her account. It keeps the customer informed about the significant transactions. This reduces the chance for fraud and allows the customer to report it rapidly.
Following the success of NBAD Card alert system, NBAD extends the spectrum of SMS alert services to cover nbadOnline, NBAD Arrow service, Salary, Cheque deposit, Cheque withdrawal, Deposit to account, Withdrawal from account and Deposit to credit card

How can you enroll yourself for this service?
All customers who have provided us with their mobile numbers would be automatically enrolled for this service. If you have not provided your mobile number till date, you can do so by calling 800 2211.
What is the fee for this service?
This service will be provided free of charge for all customers until further notice.
What if you do not want this service?
You can, at any stage, decide to opt out from this service by calling our toll free number 800 2211.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you’re using a MasterCard, most of the times the system will SMS you about the transaction value in US$ instead of the actual currency used. This is due to the fact that the transaction is reported as such by MasterCard system used worldwide.
What are the terms and conditions for this service?
- The mobile number should be a UAE local number.
- The bank reserves the right to discontinue this service to a customer or stop it completely at itssole discretion without assigning any reasons. In such case the customer(s) will be notified (by any mean which the Bank may find appropriate) at least two days prior to the discontinuation or termination of the service.
- The bank is not responsible for any damage that might be caused to the customer as a result of this service.
- The bank is not responsible in any event the service is stopped or discontinued by the mobile service provider.
- The SMS regarding the use of the supplementary cards will be sent to the mobile phone of the primary card holder unless notified otherwise by him.
- The customer is solely responsible for providing the branch with his correct mobile
number and contact details.
- The bank has the right to add to or amend these terms and conditions at any time.
- If the bank decides to charge for this service, it shall announce the rate at least one week before such charge is calculated, and will be debited to the customer´s account unless the customer decides to discontinue acquiring the service
