The Bank Wins in the Custody Survey by the Global Custodian Magazine

We are pleased to announce that the Bank won in the Custody industry’s most prestigious survey by the Global Custodian Magazine in all categories including Global Outperformer, Market Outperformer and Service Category Outperformer.

Global Custodian, the leading magazine covering the international securities services business, provides analysis and commentary on the latest news and events in the international securities industry. The Magazine, with a circulation of 20,000 investment professionals around the world, is defined by high-quality editorial and a series of annual surveys that have become benchmarks for the industry.

The results are remarkable, given that it was a cross-border survey, which means that our non-UAE based clients provided these results, demonstrating our growing international reputation. Moreover, the Bank achieved the highest overall average score compared to all our international competitor banks in the UAE:

Relationship Management and Client Service Value Delivered Settlement Asset Servicing Ancillary Services Reporting Technology Average Score

NBAD 6.31 5.34 5.84 6.08 6 5.86 5.76 5.884285714

HSBC 5.67 4.77 5.6 5.43 5.29 5.4 5.39 5.364285714

Across all service areas, The Bank received impressive scores that are similar to last year’s. Its most impressive score is for depth and breadth of local market knowledge (6.63), followed by quality of personnel (6.37). Even competitiveness of fees charged is rated Good (5.21).

Global Custodian Magazine’s annual surveys are used by sophisticated buyers, such as SWF’s and Global Intermediaries, when looking to appoint new providers. Therefore, this recognition reinforces our Bank Custody as a leading provider of custody services in the region.

Congratulations on this significant achievement!
