How do I register?

Get started by either:

1. Visiting the branch to sign the Online Banking subscription form:

  • You will be given your username and password
  • Your token details will be sent to your registered email (please make sure that your email address is up to date)

2. Contact the call centre to apply:

  • You will be given your username and password when you visit the branch
    Note: You will need to sign the Online Banking subscription form when you visit the branch to collect your username and password
  • Your token details will be sent to your registered email (please make sure that your email address is up to date)

How do I access Online Banking?

To access our Egypt Online banking you should have the following:

  1. A User ID
  2. Your Password
  3. A One Time Password generated by token


How do I activate my User ID and Password?

  • After receiving your username and password from the branch, please contact our call centre on 19977 to activate it.

How to activate the Token?

What is the token?

  • Our Bank in Egypt provides you with a soft token application which can be downloaded from the mobile app store (Entrust Identity Guard)
  • The soft token application is used to generate the secure OTP (One Time Password)
  • Each customer registered for our Egypt Online Banking will receive an email with his/her token details.

What is the OTP (One Time Password)?

  • It is an 8 digit security code
  • It has an expiry time limit

When should you use the OTP (One Time Password)?

  • The OTP should be used each time you login
  • and each time you perform transaction

How do I activate the soft token application to generate the OTP?

  • To start using the soft token application, you first need to activate it.

Token Activation Process:
The bank will send your token details to your registered email address.
The email will contain information about how to activate your token, similar to the below:

  1. Download the soft token application from your mobile app store (Application name: Entrust Identity Guard)
  2. Insert the following four 4 “fields” of information needed for the soft token application either using the QR code or manually:
    a. Address
    b. Name
    c. Serial Number
    d. Activation Code
    Note: (the above information will be sent to your registered email address)
  3. Create your personal pin on the soft token application (you can change your pin at any time)
  4. A registration code will appear. Either activate your token by giving the registration code to the branch or to the call centre by calling 19977.

: Keep a record of the registration code (i.e. write it down/take a screenshot) until you visit the branch or contact the call centre to avoid repeating the above steps in case you lose the registration code.

Once the token has been activated, you can simply launch the soft token application to generate the One Time Password (OTP) every time the system requests an OTP.

As we will send token details to your email address please make sure that your current mobile phone number and email address is registered with us
